I had an absolutely unacceptable experience with India Initiative, specifically with Utsav Chawla, who was the one who personally scheduled my Microsoft Teams meeting. He sent the confirmation email, calendar invite, and finalized the time — all formalities were completed professionally until the meeting day.

But when the time came, he never showed up.

I waited for over 30 minutes in the Teams meeting — no update, no cancellation notice, no message, no call. I tried calling him — no answer. Eventually, he texted me saying he had canceled the meeting. Then why did he confirm it and send an invite in the first place?

This is not just poor communication — it’s a complete lack of basic professionalism and courtesy. My time was wasted without any accountability. If this is how India Initiative handles something as simple as a consultation appointment, how can anyone trust them with financial or tax matters?

Utsav Chawla’s attitude and this careless behavior reflect very badly on the company. I strongly recommend avoiding India Initiative for any financial or tax-related advice. You deserve better than being ignored and disrespected.
